Care Instructions

• Hand Wash Only: Gently hand wash your in cold water using a mild, silk-friendly detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. If you must machine wash, only use the delicate cycle and mild detergent.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or other strong chemicals as they can damage the silk fibers.
• Gentle Drying: After washing, carefully press out any excess water with a soft towel. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
• Air Dry: Lay the garment flat on a drying rack and allow it to air dry naturally. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading and weakening of the fabric.
• Ironing: If necessary, iron on the lowest heat setting and preferably while the garment is still slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse side to protect the silk’s sheen.
• Avoid Perfumes and Oils: Refrain from spraying perfumes, oils, or other harsh substances directly on the fabric, as they can cause staining and weaken the delicate silk fibers.
• Storage: Store your silk pyjamas in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging, as it can stretch the fabric. Folding and placing it in a drawer with acid-free tissue paper is ideal.
• Professional Cleaning: For best results and to prolong the life of your pyjamas, consider professional dry cleaning specifically for delicate silk fabrics.
